about

Sonically, the choruses feature heavily modulated guitars, driving bass
and drums and dreamy synth. The verses come back down to earth, drum machine and
wobbly wurly holding the listeners hand.
Lyrically, the piece deals with philosophy and mental health. Luminary encourages listeners
to take a step back to analyse what has brought a person to a certain point before passing
judgement based on an emotional reaction. The lyrics also take inspiration from stoicism,
epistemology and existentialism.

lyrics

Lost in limbo
You can't dream
Well who needs those
When all you've wanted has always been
Take your time
Make it last
Soon you'll see
It's all too fast

And
You're no
Luminary
Illusion
Is all you see
Fabricated
By greed
What is this
Reality

Questioning
Everything
Are you being
Or have you been
Take your time
Make it last
Soon you'll see
It's all too fast

And
You're no
Luminary
Illusion
Is all you see
Fabricated
By greed
What is this
Reality
